Sip on this fall fruit smoothie for breakfast or a mid-afternoon pick-me-up to promote a happy, healthy immune system!
1 cup pomegranate juice
½ cup unsweetened plant-based yogurt (almond or coconut)
1 medium-sized apple, cored and chopped into small pieces
½ medium-sized banana, broken into chunks
1 teaspoon fresh grated ginger
A couple dashes of ground cinnamon
Optional: small piece of beetroot, for color
- Add all ingredients to a blender (high-speed works best), and blend until smooth.
- Serve with an additional dash of cinnamon if desired.
Sweet, slightly tart, warmly spiced, and creamy.
