Pomegranate is a powerhouse fruit for immune health. It’s high levels of potent polyphenol antioxidants help neutralize a wide range of free radicals. Creamy plant-based yogurt supports digestion, while fresh grated ginger helps clear the microcirculatory channels of the body. Add a piece of beetroot to the blender for a deeper red color!

Pomegranate Smoothie

Serves 1

1 cup pomegranate juice
½ cup unsweetened plant-based yogurt (almond or coconut)
1 medium-sized apple, cored and chopped into small pieces
½ medium-sized banana, broken into chunks
1 teaspoon fresh grated ginger
A couple dashes of ground cinnamon
Optional: small piece of beetroot, for color

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender (high-speed works best), and blend until smooth.
  2. Serve with an additional dash of cinnamon if desired.
Taste Notes
Sweet, slightly tart, warmly spiced, and creamy.
