AYURVEDIC JOURNEY

Vaidya Amitha Rudraraju has been practicing Ayurveda since 2000.

She began her studies in Ayurveda with the University of Mysore and graduated with a BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) in 2001. Next, Amitha studied at the Symbiosis Institute Pune and in 2002 earned a PG DEMS (Post Graduate Diploma in Emergency Medical Services). She went on to the Apollo Hospital in Hyderabad, continuing her studies and graduating in 2003 with a PG DPPHC (Post Graduate Diploma in Preventive and Promotive Healthcare).

Food and diet being key facets of wellness, Amitha moved to London and trained as a chef and nutritionist at Le Cordon Bleu, London, in 2013.

After completing five and a half years of BAMS training, Amitha became a fully qualified Vaidya in 2001. In 2004 she completed her Maharishi AyurVeda Training in Delhi. Back in London, Amitha went on to study Laughter Yoga and qualified as a teacher of this practice in 2015. At Edify Labs, Mumbai, she also studied and qualified in 2019 as a Life Purpose Coach. In 2023, she completed the Maharishi Marma therapy course in Vlodrop, The Netherlands.

Over the years, Vaidya Amitha Rudraraju has worked in various hospitals throughout India, mainly in the fields of Panchakarma and OBG (Obstetrics and Gynecology).
