Ruthi Offenbach Ljunsberg has been a vegetarian since childhood and has two daughters who grew up on a vegetarian diet. Cooking has always been her passion. Ruthi has worked in large kitchens at study centers for yoga and meditation in both the Netherlands and Sweden. In 1987, she began studying Ayurveda under some of the first Ayurvedic doctors who came to the West—including Dr. Raju—and has worked with Ayurvedic treatments and consultations ever since.
As one of the pioneers of Ayurveda in Sweden, she has been running the Veda Lila Shop and Wellness Centre in Stockholm since 1988.
