Its aroma has both uplifting & calming effects which are ideal to soothe & calm the senses when vata goes out of balance. Palo santo cleanses the energetics of the subtle body, cultivates equanimity & helps prana, or life force energy, flow harmoniously.
Vetiver
Also known as ruh khus, vetiver essential oil is sourced from the roots of the vetiver plant. It has a smooth, earthy, heavy aroma the oil itself is unctuous & golden in color. Vetiver is known as the “Oil of Tranquility” thanks to its stabilizing, nourishing effects. When the mind is feeling scattered & overwhelm is setting in, vetiver is a strong ally to help recenter & ground. Don’t hesitate to rub some of this spritzer onto the soles of the feet for extra calm prior to bedtime for quick absorption.
