I take one tablet triphala plus and deep rest before bed and I have been having nightmares Should I take them together
Our only recommendation with taking more than one of our supplements is to not exceed 5/6 at a time. We also do not recommend mixing our strong detox products. There are no known side effects with our supplements. That being said, everyone has a different body physiology and can react differently. We would recommend trying one supplement at a time to see if you still have issues. We are just product consultants with no medical training so if you do have concerns we suggest seeking advice from your primary physician or an integrative wellness consultant such as Nancy Lonsdorf.
I started taking Deep Rest in April and had trouble with sleep when I did not take it. For the past month I have been taking either Blissful Sleep or Deep Rest every night. Recently I realized that I am extremely drowsy during the day. One day this week I slept nearly all afternoon and then went back to sleep at 9 pm and slept with only a minor disturbance until 5:20 am. In researching valerian root side effects I discovered that this drowsiness may be a side effect. I’m going to try weaning myself off of the product. I’m wondering if others have had this issue and what other options there might be if these products are not for me.
Valerian (Valeriana officinalis) root is a different ingredient than the one we use. Both Deep Rest and Blissful Sleep contain Indian valerian (Valeriana wallichii) rhizome, along with other ingredients to counteract any side effects that might occur from taking a single ingredient over a long time. While we haven't received any feedback from customers having the same experience, it's possible you might be having a unique reaction. You might try taking a smaller dose or even discontinuing Deep Rest and Blissful Sleep to see if you notice a change in the daytime drowsiness. Another product you might consider is Slumber Time Tea, which doesn't contain Indian valerian. Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thank you.

This will most likely never be available in a capsule, we try to keep the integrity of the herbs intact and have found tablets to be the best vehicle for this. Thank you.
