AyurAde Summertime Tonic

AyurAde Summertime Tonic

Why We Love This Recipe

Pitta, the fire element, can be hot, sharp, intense, and be increased by sour, salty, and pungent flavors. Pitta is soothed by cool environments, less time pressure and by sweet and bitter tastes. Try this Pitta cooling AyurAde made of cool mint, organic rose water, and sweet and bitter taste of cucumbers. When hot summer weather causes frustration, head to your kitchen and concoct this tasty drink.

  • 11 cucumber slices
  • Sprig of fresh mint leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon of Organic Rose Water
  • Pinch of pink Himalayan rock salt and pinch of organic sugar

In a 64-ounce glass pitcher or Mason jar, add ingredients to mineral, spring or filtered water. Allow about 10 minutes for ingredients to infuse water with cool vibrations. Add a fresh mint leaf to each glass for a festive garnish. Paper umbrella optional.

AyurAde tonics are easy to make, effective on staying cool, and enjoyable to drink! Cheers!
