Serene Sanctuaries: Create Your Own Oasis of Bliss This Holiday Season

Maharishi Ayurveda has a whole range of wholesome treats to take you from frazzled to feel-good.

Massage Magic

There's no better way to rev yourself up for a hectic day. Abhyanga, the warm oil ayurvedic self-massage, is a deliciously relaxing yet vibrantly rejuvenating experience that strengthens your body, clears your mind and uplifts your emotions. Set aside 45 minutes in the morning for this luxurious experience-you'll more than make up the time in enhanced productivity the rest of the day.

For this season, The Council of Maharishi Ayurveda Physicians recommends a 50-50 combination of the Relaxation Massage Oil, a light, aromatic blend of Frankincense and Sweet Orange essential oils in a base of pure almond oil, and the Youthful Skin Massage Oil for Men or Women, each a powerhouse of over twenty restorative ayurvedic herbs and essential oils.

Warm the blended oil until it is pleasantly warm; then massage every part of your body with attention, using straight strokes over limbs and circular strokes over rounded parts like the joints. Allow the oil 10-15 minutes to soak into your skin and work its magic; then bathe or shower.
