The Chandrika Story
In 1940 Sri Kesavan Vaidyar, an ayurvedic physician, started manufacturing an ayurvedic soap called "Chandrika", in a small town called Irinjalakuda in Kerala well before Ayurveda became a global phenomenon. Faith in his creation, Chandrika Soap, gave him the courage to persist. His belief and persistence paid off when users recognized its value and goodness, returning for more. Once people discovered Chandrika, there was no turning back.
Sharing the Love Spreading Hope
Using the income from his business, Sri. Kesavan Vaidyar established several institutions to help the less fortunate. He founded Lal Memorial Hospital to provide basic medical services to those in need, along with a nursing school to support healthcare. He also established S.N. Public School, a public library, and a teachers' training college, believing that education empowers people.
