Tamara Jones was burning the candle at both ends, leading a fast-paced lifestyle focused on external success when she realized she’d been sacrificing her total well-being. After a transformational life pivot studying Ayurveda in Australia, she decided to dedicate her career to wellness, and Made by Yoke was born.
Through Made by Yoke and Yoke Holistic, a California based integrative wellness practice, founder Tamara Jones seeks to guide and inspire customers and clients by providing traditional tools backed by science for modern living. Her intentional home products, exquisite fragrances, and Ayurveda apothecary are driven by the company’s core values of personal awareness, self-empowerment, and connection. Made by Yoke works with like-minded partners who are dedicated to fair trade, fair wages, and environmental awareness.
The Climate Conscious Approach
Environmental awareness is a core component of Made by Yoke’s ethos. Their team is currently working on off-setting their carbon emissions through reducing carbon output within the company, as well as investing in clean energy. Through supporting environmental balance, as well as honoring the natural cycles of the land when producing their products, Made by Yoke sets an example of successfully operating in harmony with nature.

Yoke Global Giving Foundation
Made by Yoke was built from the desire to empower others to live a life full of sustainable self-care and wellbeing. Through the Yoke Global Giving Foundation, each year their team selects an organization to connect with and donate a percentage of their annual profits to. Most recently, they chose a nonprofit that helps empower young women of color to find their voices, develop skill sets, and excel in the workplace.
