Lavender Tea

Makes 1 cup of tea
1 cup hot water
2-4 teaspoons organic food-grade dried lavender buds
Optional: honey to taste

Directions
  1. Bring water to a boil. Place lavender buds in a teapot or a sachet.
  2. Once the water has boiled, pour it over the lavender and let it steep for about 10 minutes.
  3. Strain the lavender and pour into your favorite mug to enjoy before bed!
  4. Optional: once the tea has cooled slightly, (warm, but not hot to the touch), stir in the honey*.

*According to Ayurveda, heating honey to high temperatures renders it toxic. Add honey only after your beverage has come down to a comfortable drinking temperature.

Taste Notes
Aromatic, herbal, sweet (with optional honey).
