Produced by Kanchanjangha Tea Estate—the first certified organic tea garden in Nepal—Organic Golden Milk contains spices grown locally by Nepalese farmers. Turmeric and ginger roots are planted during the winter season, where they grow and mature for 10 months before being harvested.
Next, they’re set underneath the warm sun to dry before being ground down to a fine spice. Then, the powdered spices are carefully mixed with just enough cinnamon powder and black pepper to balance the blend and enhance its health benefits.
Nepal Tea’s focus is truly to benefit people and the planet before profit. A social enterprise offering the finest high-mountain organic teas from the foothills of Mt. Kanchanjangha, Nepal Tea empowers its farmers by providing better revenues. They also provide free housing, free education for farmers’ children, and the distribution of cows for additional income.
The climate, elevation, pollution-free environment, and traditional cultivation methods at Nepal Tea produce exceptionally delicious and fragrant teas. Unlike conventionally produced teas, every single tea leaf is handpicked by fairly paid farmers!
